Literally burst out laughing at the Rogue One nomination for Best Editing. That movie has good editing in literally ONE act, and that's only good, not great.

I voted for R1. I might even vote for it to win. It's one of the few movies where we actually got a glimpse into what the editors did and how they shaped a story that changed throughout the process.

It's all right. Please don't subject yourself to that.

I need to suffer for my sins. Why wouldn't I subject myself to it?

I failed Donnie, and I've failed you and the forum

That s what I am trying to explain to all of you

KUBO uses two techniques :

Stop Motion & Composited CGI

It s either a movie (Stop Motion is kinda live action if you think about it) with VFX

or

an Animated movie which uses two animation techniques : Stop Motion & CGI, blended together.

Can't be both.

Still no VFX.

I'm bewildered why you're trying to define things this way... not the least of which is the very industry pros whose work you treasure and love supported it to an Oscar nomination.
