THE MATTHEW BRODERICK!!?!? Damn....missed him. Where was he all this while? Haven't seen him in anything since Inspector Gadget.

He has been concentrating on his stage work.

Actually it's more like 325M on a 17M budget or anything. 😉

Paramount finally did get lucky with  "A Quiet Place" but it was the first break they have had in a while. They seem to have much more then their fair share of problem films, and few big blockbusters over the past few years. They have Mission Impossible:Falllout this summer, but their other big franchise, "Star Trek" seems to be in reboot mode again.

I heard that the fourth Chris Pine Star Trek film is being worked on, though they did also announce the Tarantino project as well.

At least there weren't any people guilty of inappropriate conduct in MONSTER TRUCKS :sparta:

that we know of.

Wrong, that film apparently features the voice of Rob Lowe, who had sexual harassment allegations made against him by two different babysitters he employed

Quote

The first two sequences shown at Annecy maybe captured this drive for originality best. A tribute to creativity, “Wonder Park” turns on 10-year-old June, a wildly imaginative young girl who builds models of amusements parks with her mother. Then her mother falls sick and has to go away for treatment. June packs away her models, loses her sense of wonder.

But one day in the woods, in a magical moment, she discovers a roller coaster car buried under ivy. It takes her to a fantasy wonder park, like the ones she used to build, peopled by animals who were its past employees. But the park is broken down, abandoned. With the park’s animals, June sets out to fix it and rediscover her sense of confidence and imagination, overcoming her fears.
