Well what a pleasant surprise those reviews are. This looked destined to be the next Fist Fight/The House/[insert generic F-word filled R rated comedy here], but those reviews, lordy. For every 10 terrible R rated comedies, there's one fine one.

 

The reviews completely change the game for its box office now. If I had a moviepass, I'd probably go this weekend. I could see people this weekend going... 

 

"hey, those Game Night reviews are great, lets go see it."

 

"We just spent all that money for the whole family to go see Black Panther"

 

"we have moviepass"

 

"oh yeah. Sure, lets go support the goat Winston Bishop. See if Debbie can babysit."

I have a feeling the reason that the Flash directing deal has still not closed is because they are waiting for the OW results. If Game Night outdoes tracking and opens to like 25M or so then the Flash deal will become a lot more pricey.

One of the best comedies I’ve seen in a while. Meth Damon is a standout and the twists are hilarious.
