After Quantumania I feel like this desperately needs good/great reviews at least, they need to earn the public trust back, and I say this as a huge MCU fan. I can see this underperforming OW but if reviews are amazing it could leg out to +$350M and be a solid hit (would love $400M but not seeing it). Now, from the trailers and everything we have seen I think this will obviously have better reviews than Quantumania and Love and Thunder and probably be closer to Wakanda Forever, however I think this can have better legs than Wakanda Forever. 

 

Right now I could see something like $135-150M OW / $340-390M DOM

I agree. Being an actual crowd pleasure is more important than an explosive OW rn

 

DOM numbers should be fine regardless, its the INT numbers that will be interesting to watch

yeah that's the practical numbers rn ! last yr i thought it can do 180m+ ow/ 450-500m dom ! but back to back mid movies destroyed the good will among ppl ! it's going to be super hard to rebuild the trust ! they can do no mistakes now ! nd if they believe gog vol 3 is really great nd will receive great wom then should have the premiers apr middle !

i can see it performing like Jurassic World Dominion domestic unless total trash , probably under perform a lot more overseas though

overseas has been terrible for antman nd meh for wakanda forever ! south korean market is dropped by more than 50% ! china looks like 50m max !

As a mcu fan, I feel hurt by the pre-sale of gotg , but as a box office fan, at least Mario's opening numbers can be subrogate a part
