This March has been insane!

Logan overperformed and did $88M OW and is heading towards $230M domestic

Kong with little hype did $61M OW and will finish with $155M-$170M domestic

Beast might be in line with my previous $175M/$525M domestic prediction

PR with negative reviews and looked like another Allegiant waiting to happen does at least $39M OW, and will finish with $100M-$120M

Boss Baby looks like the typical "shitty" Dreamworks movie with mediocre reviews that we under predict and does something like $35M-$45M OW with a $115M-$150M finish.

Yeah, PR2 may not happen with that lackluster OS performance. I was actually hoping for a sequel.

Yes they are typically. But Im not surprised. If you go to the international forum, its not doing too well. It outright bombed in Russia. And was trailing Life in Australia even though Life is performing the same there as it is domestically aka not too good.

If the foreign number holds, that's a huge discrepancy between domestic and OS markets. Some old brands (PR, Ghostbusters) don't excite international audiences.

It'd need at least $250M to make its money back.

Domestic heading towards $100M-$125M

OS minus China is doing $50M-$75M

Unless China overperforms Lionsgate isn't making its money back

It's a hard one because they only have exposure to 25% of the budget and there are so many distributors involved worldwide.

 

So we'll never know.

 

But yeah, no sequel.
