MikeQ
$6.1 million would be a 3% drop from Wednesday. It has about the same weekend pattern as last weekend: Thu: $6.1 million Fri: $13.2 million (+116%) Sat: $21.4 million (+62%) Sun: $15.8 million (-26%) TOTAL: $50.4 million So I expect about a $50 million weekend, give or take. Peace, Mike

Valonqar
Lets hope. Magnificent start of the year with all those breakouts (GO, Split), over-performers (Kong, PR) and the beast.
Eevin
Other movies with $50m+ third weekends: TFA Avatar Jurassic World Avengers Kinda awesome to think that Beauty and the Beast can stand alongside all of these powerhouses...
Momo
Congrats to BATB. Sad as a PR fan to see how far it droped after 1 week. Was hoping it make 17-18M this weekend. Seems unlikely now.

Shame that BATB wont make the 600m club with those films as well... we can thank the lack of Summer / holiday weekdays for that.

I mean...it still has a (very slim) shot if it plays like Jungle Book from here, but the fact that it's doing $500m+ outside of the summer / holidays is tremendous regardless. Utterly destroyed the original BatB adjusted gross.
arpiaaaa
What a pity. During holydays BATB would have smashed even more money.

Outrageous!
Lionsgate is always late getting out their numbers. I guess they are like Tommy Oliver from the Power Rangers TV show.

NoobSaibot
Kong: Skull Island is about to crack the $140 million milestone. Hopefully international hauls keep it going strong. It'd be awesome if the MonsterVerse grossed $1 billion in just two films. K:SI needs at least $471 million WW to accomplish that feat.
