MovieGuyKyle16
Parks & Rec- series low I watched it last night. This is a quote from Cougar Town/Scrubs creator Bill Lawrence @vdoozer: "I don't believe 11 mil people watched Rob and only 3 mil watched Parks. 25,000 homes is Nielsen sample, representing 115 mil homes"

Cedarpoint1111
NBC had a horrible night. Imagine how bad it will get in the Spring when all shows decline.

Community Manager Water Bottle Posted September 22, 2012 Author Community Manager Share Posted September 22, 2012 Is there a way to get old TV ratings? Say, from 2004-2006..Wikipedia is your best bet. Otherwise, no. Sadly Nielsen doesn't like people keeping records of ratings, so any source that reports on ratings will delete those reports after two weeks. iceroll
Awful for everything no on NBC last night. Partners is DOA, H50 hits a new low, everything else premieres much lower than last year. WTF happened?
Community Manager Water Bottle Posted September 25, 2012 Author Community Manager Share Posted September 25, 2012 Awful for everything no on NBC last night. Partners is DOA, H50 hits a new low, everything else premieres much lower than last year. WTF happened?Every season, the average ratings fall a bit. Most shows tend to decrease every single season in their premieres. So it's not a surprise that things have premiered lower. What is a surprise is Partners failed to launch (even Mike & Molly beat it!) and H50 really did fall. ladyevenstar22
i was all happy after watching castle premiere episode but then made mistake going on tvbythenumbers site to read comments and you'd think castle did super awful , it was the most watched show in its time slot yet that means peanuts because of stupid demo which was still better than hawaii5o !i just don't get why some people are so eager to spell doom and gloom after one episode! castle is in its fifth season give it a breather sheesh (and still pulling in an average of 10 million viewers not to mention its pretty popular in france and regularly wins its time slot on french tv who do take into account total viewers as we do not show ads during scripted showsthe only revolution has going for it is that there are no dinosaurs weighing down on the budget!as for hawaii i've yet to finish watch season 1 so s2/3 ????pffff Edited September 26, 2012 by ladyevenstar22
Community Manager Water Bottle Posted September 26, 2012 Author Community Manager Share Posted September 26, 2012 (and still pulling in an average of 10 million viewers not to mention its pretty popular in france and regularly wins its time slot on french tv who do take into account total viewers as we do not show ads during scripted showsFrench ratings do not take any account into whether an American show is renewed or not. Total viewers don't really matter that much in American television. The only show I know of to be renewed based on total viewers in the last ten years is the first season of Harry's Law...and then it got cancelled after a second season.Castle didn't do as well it could have but at the same time, it'll probably be renewed since it's not doing THAT terrible. It'll probably be doing average for ABC or right below average.
