Wonder how that'll affect its legs over the weekend

It'll probably behave like Mile 22 on Saturday and drop in the low-40s on Sunday because of football. The Sunday drop could be higher if it's more male skewing though.

What a horrible past few weeks for STX

One the bright side Peppermint's budget was probably half of Mile 22s $50m.  It might actually be profitable.

Peppermint 49 1476 3.32%
The Nun 239 2356 10.14%

Peppermint Comps:

136% of The Foreigner (17.8M)

83% of Death Wish (10.8M)

44% of Tomb Raider (10.3M)

19% of The Meg (8.6M)

114% of Mile 22 (15.6M)

Seems pretty decent.

The Nun Comps:

368% of The Strangers 2 (38.2M)

129% of A Quiet Place (64.8M)

115% of The First Purge's 5-Day (36.1M)

93% of The Meg (42M)

Again, seems to be very solid.

7:00 shows at my theater:

Peppermint: 28/78

The Nun: 27/78

God Bless the Broken Road: 9/78

The Nun still has two more shows tonight, and the total of all shows combined right now is 50 tickets. Annabelle Creation sold 76 total when it had previews last year, so I think The Nun should surpass that. Comps will come in a couple hours

God Bless the Broken Road is doing alright I guess. It's doing better than Beautifully Broken at least. Tomorrow's sales don't look particularly strong.

Peppermint comps:

25% of The Equalizer 2 (8.8M)

45% of Ocean's 8 (19.2M)

80% of Red Sparrow (13.5M)

90% of Sicario 2 (17.1M)

95% of Mile 22 (13M)

110% of Death Wish (14.3M)

This is a very good start.

Final The Nun sales:

7:00: 27/78

8:00: 28/78

9:15: 21/78

Total: 76/234

It just managed to beat Creation. This is at 90% of A Quiet Place, which would be 45.2M. IMAX and other PLFs will get this over 40M, but idk how much higher than that it's going.
