Daddario and Upton play a pair of lifelong best friends who decide to avoid their problems by taking a vacation only to find that their plane has been rerouted due to a hurricane warning. To make matters worse, the two friends find themselves in a hilarious battle for the same guy (Barr) during an extended layover in St. Louis.

Director:

William H. Macy

Writers:

David Hornsby

Lance Krall

Cast:

Alexandra Daddario

Kate Upton

Matt Barr

Matt Jones

Rob Corddry

Kal Penn

Molly Shannon

William H. Macy

Filming wrapped up recently, but there's no guaranteed wide release yet since it was independently produced.

Still, I think we all know what to look forward to here. ;)

And Matt Barr will be known as the luckiest son of a bitch in the world.

Side tidbit: Lea Michele was originally supposed to have Daddario's role.

In all seriousness, yes, I fell head over heels in lust after True Detective. But I developed full-on appreciation and adoration for her after she tweeted about the President seeing her in True Detective. It showed us what kind of person she is. She's been an excellent sport about all of it. So believe me when I say that my primary interest in this is seeing her lead a comedy.

Of course, it is amusing that the two biggest gigs she's booked since True Detective, San Andreas and this, are easy targets for puns about her endowment.

I wouldn't call Daddario untalented. Also, the talent behind the camera makes me think that this will be better than expected.

It's being released on DirecTV's on demand service on August 3 and will get shown in a handful of theaters on September 1. Pretty much a straight-to-VOD release.

Well, that sucks.
