What even is your point?  That there's stuff out there that more people are getting addicted from than heroin?  I don't get it.  Why is this what you're trying to bring into the conversation?

There was no point, just additional information. Some of us don't feel the need to follow a script and can add things to the conversation to enrich it.

Wow, I had no idea people can get addicted to other things that aren't heroin.  Thank you for clarifying that for me.

In more positive news, it looks like Demi will be okay.  She's in stable condition now.  I hope she can fully recover from this and overcome her addiction.

If you were to get into a car with a driver that has smoked cannabis, you chances of surviving the journey unharmed are significantly reduced.

If you get into a car with a driver that has just smoked a cigarette, your chances of surviving the journey unharmed are slightly increased.

Heroin is a very very bad shit. Definetely the worst drug out there. No personal experience from my part but I had the misfortune to know a guy that brought disaster to everyone around him.

Generally drugs is such a difficult issue. When you are young you just don't think right. When I went to college and escaped the family oppression I just wanted to try as much as I can. I am lucky I had a couple of people that helped me put some limits.

Honestly, that's more or less why I am absolutely scared of becoming a parent. I remember what I was as a teen and I don't think I could have handled me in any way.

I was the opposite, I absolutely detested and would not tolerate anybody doing drugs around me.

In your profile you should be able to see your warnings which contain the time you are banned.

You were thread banned for 14 days on the 9th which ended yesterday so I removed the ban.

I still can't post in the MI-F thread. It says reply ban :(

I was like that until late high-school/early college. I was very introverted, kinda nerdy and didn't want to engage in any such behaviour. But then I met my now two best friend and they helped me reassess my limits somehow. I had some of the best experiences of my life so I am not regretting anything. If you look at it though from a kinda objective perspective yeahh didn't do the best life decisions :P .

Yeah I am a bit snobbish like that.

If you do hard drugs, I simply refuse to go out with you as a friend.

If you are smoking pot or a cigarette you had to do it outdoors.

This new HBO show Succession is very addictive. Kieran Culkin's character looked like he was going to be a cartoonish psycho but ended up being surprisingly likeable, and so are the other brothers. The show is a soap opera, but very engaging and well made so far. Ratings don't seem so good though, and HBO has been ruthless with underperforming shows no matter how good they are. I still can't get over Enlightened's cancelation, such a great show.
