Incredible how these streaming services nowadays keep forgetting all the reasons why Netflix got so popular in the first place. And that sadly includes Netflix itself.

Once ads start making their way into streaming services here where I live I’ll just start finding alternative ways to watch their stuff all over again, I really hate ads, I have adblocking all the way up my ass to avoid seeing them.

Unfortunately, ads are one of the few ways to reliably pay the bills. And "paying the bills" is actually starting to become important at this stage of the Streaming Wars.

(Retransmission agreements/syndication another — but that ship looks to be sailing fast, at least in terms of syndication)

Is it an American culture thing where it's a trend to just openly hate your spouse? I just don't get it. Why don't these people just get divorced.

I am seeing this more with cost of living where people dont really love or like their spouse anymore but feel if they went alone they be poor broke or have no house.

In many other cultures if you get divorced you can go back to your parents house and reset your life.

This is what actors mean when they talk about AI during the strike.

Although this one is even worse; is it based on a real person? If so, is the person even aware of it? Are they being paid for it?

On another track; Are there sites that you can send a picture or photo to and they’ll detect whether it’s real or deep fake? Just thinking about the deepfakes porn implications on the average person’s life

I know quite a few people who got divorced in their 20s or 30s and their parents gladly took them back in until they got back on their feet again. It’s wild to me that this isn’t an option in general for the North Americans, considering the costs of living in a big city over there.

It also depends not everyone has a healthy relationship with parents or have parents with money as well :(

It's because of the mentality for a lot of people that moving back in with your parents = the ultimate admission that your marriage (and more particularly, you) failed, or that you just failed out there in the real world in general moving away from the topic of marriage.

And yeah, that's not even taking into account that it's statistically proven that family estrangement has arguably never been higher than it is today. At least 1/4 American adults have cut family out of their lives for a variety of reasons (differences in political views being the most popular one to pin it on but it's hardly the only reason). That's a pretty big number.

Makes sense i hear stories of divorced couples or ex bf and gf living together as they can't afford to live alone.

@BoxOfficeFangrl

(watching the game and it's already been referenced several times)

I did think that initial denial from Taylor's team was a bit suspect: the initial stories only indicated something extremely casual between them while her people said they weren't officially dating. Seems like things have progressed.

They aren't each other's usual type and both have intense followings, so that should be fun on social media.

Cackling that Adam Schefter is reporting this like it's trade deadline or free agent news.

I'm still chuckling at how all of this (allegedly) started. (or choose a different version of the many many links about this story)

Almost too scripted and perfect, actually.  Almost.

Can't quite call it a Woj-Bomb style post (A-bomb???) when it was all over the TV at the same time, but the reaction online is still much the same!

Travis just seemed a bit too eager and public about being linked to Taylor; I thought it would backfire. OTOH she gets a lot of attention for her love life so it's probably best for her to date someone who also enjoys the spotlight.

Taylor really just showed up at Arrowhead sitting next to Kelce's mom, what an announcement. I wonder if Brittany and Jackson Mahomes have already introduced themselves and how fast her security shut down their TikTok attempts.
