Pretty sure it hasn't been revealed until now but a documentary about Anton Yelchin made by his parents (and featuring interviews from a slew of people he worked with including Chris Pine, Jennifer Lawrence, Kristen Stewart, and more) will also be premiering at Sundance. Oh god. That one still very much hurts.

The director is a friend of mine. (He was also one of the guys who cut “The Director and the Jedi”). It’s been pretty cool to see him react to the movie getting accepted to Sundance, etc.

Fried chicken is all the rage in these race-themed movies these days. In The Hate U Give there was a moment where the perhaps-not-unconsciously-racist white girl made a backhanded remark towards Stenberg about fried chicken before saying "that's what we ate for lunch!"
