Jigsaw (LG), 2,651 theaters (-290) / $1.15M Fri. / 3-day cume: $3.3M (-50%) / Total cume: $34.2M / Wk 3

Happy Death Day (UNI/BLUM), 1,564 theaters (-620) / $454K Fri. / 3-day cume: $1.3M (-51%)/ Total cume: $54.9M / Wk 5

If JIGSAW adds 1.5x the weekend more it will end at 39.15m dom which gives a 2.35x multiplier (39.15/16.64).

Giving HDD a better 2x the weekend more (cause it's further into the run putting smaller numbers), it ends with 57.5m dom and a 2.21x multiplier (57.5/26.04).

HDD's ow was inflated because of Friday the 13th but did not anticipate JIGSAW having better legs as it was the 8th film of the franchise.

That's a big Sat jump for Thor, about 31%.

18.3 + 24 (+31%) + 13.8 (-42.5%) = 56.1 (-54.3%)

Locks 300. 310-320 could happen.

edit: I think Sun drop could be 40-45%.

That’s a great jump for Thor. Could reach close to 57M even with a -40% Sun drop.

Great hold/increase for the openers as well.

I'll be interested to see what kind of staying power Murder on the Orient Express has. Saw it today in a nearly sold out theater and there was really no reaction either way on the way out.

There was one loud reaction in mine, but it was a drunk girl so :gold:

it is funny how every week there is always a moderate crowd pleaser based on some source material with a history.  It just so happens this weekend the crowds came to the movie theater.  I am surprised all the money is going to the top 4 and split decision buyers did not see one of the older ones with better reviews.
