Garbage.  Trash idea.

Now I have to wait longer to see it.

It's for the best tbh. Marketplace is gonna be insanely crowded with adult-targeted specialty fare that is either opening (Molly's Game) or expanding (The Shape of Water, Call Me by Your Name, Darkest Hour) over Christmas and Neon is still a new studio. Best to wait until the coast is somewhat clear, especially since they probably want to take advantage of the Olympics.

This is a good point, maybe the best compromise to be early enough out there for awards, but best way to take advantages of the Golden Globes + Olympics.

I'm probably going to end up liking JL more than TLJ, and I thought JL was pretty average.

I don’t get it, are you bragging about your bad taste in movies?! Why would JL be better in any respect than fucking Star Wars?!

Trust me, you'd be entering cardiac arrest if you had any idea of just how many people I know that give zero shits about Star Wars, yet worship stuff that I dislike or hate. Let him have his opinion, mate. If he likes JL more than TLJ, good for him... I guess.

Yeh stop with this. Everyone has different opinions.

Who are you to say that someone has bad taste?

They like DCU films, is a good indication.

My question wasn’t meant to offend his opinion as he actually doesn’t have an opinion. It’s impossible to have an opinion about a movie you haven’t seen, or at least an educated opinion that is. So I just was confused why he was assuming he wouldn’t find TLJ better than his admittedly mediocre JL? That was why I asked not to say “your opinion sucks,” as no actual opinion was offered. I was expecting an answer like “because I generally hate Star Wars,” and... to each his own lol.
