John Marston
Terrific total. Why did it flop in South Korea though, they are usually kind to action films
baumer
I'm hoping for another 10 mill from China, at least 15 mill from Japan and then 5 domestically. That puts it at 296 mill. There will obviously be more than 4 mill from all the holdovers. So 300 is locked. Maybe 325?

It's already passed the first but it's strange that they didn't take well to it there.
CJohn
"While official numbers aren't available for The Expendables 2, it appears the movie has earned at least $186 million overseas so far (including a whopping $40 million in China through just 13 days). That tops the original movie's $171 million, and it puts the sequel on pace to cruise past the $200 million mark in the next few weeks." wileECoyote
those country totals given add up to $144,5mBOM looks like they don't have all the official OS numbers yet. The "as of" dates for some countries are still a little old and the country list doesn't include China at all but if you add the estimate from China of 40M you get close to 186M OS. Guessing international distribution is handled by a lot of different companies so it's hard to get the official totals all put together. Rth says EX2 is distributed by 50+ different companies in 63+ OS markets.
Rudolf
Rth says EX2 is distributed by 50+ different companies in 63+ OS markets.so BOM does a good job in compiling most of them and can't be bothered with a smaller market like China
