Currently: TLJ and BP are nose to nose.

BP's 2nd weekend: BP should pull ahead.

BP's 2nd Mon-Fri: TLJ should come back with a vengence (thanks to the holidays).

BP's 3rd weekend: BP should recover but I don't know who will be ahead.

After that will truly test BP's legs and determine if BP hits 600 m.

Yep.  The "1's" show that it was Opening Day.  BOM didn't filter them out and I felt even there this shows just how strong this Tue is.

Sure, there's Discount Tuesday.  On the other hand, there's Discount Tuesday, as it also lowers the money coming in.

A very impressive number no matter how it is looked at.  "Most impressive indeed" as someone might say.

It's considered the 'holiday season', just like summer is considered a season.  Either way, the only December date on there that is remotely similar to today/yesterday are:

Quote

10 Star Wars: The Last Jedi           BV $20,254,189 4,232 $4,786 12/19/17 5 $261.8 $618.2
16 Rogue One: A Star Wars Story BV $17,582,978 4,157 $4,230 12/20/16 5 $190.3 $532.2

Everything else is smack dab in the middle of School's Out/Many Businesses Off.
