Also, February 2018 is now the biggest February of all time (beating $816m from 2012), and it looks like it should easily hit $1b, making it beat the previous record by $200m!

 

This also means that just September and October are without $1b grossing years. September is far away as 2017 took the crown with just under $700m, October record is $758m from 2014 (2017 didn't even make top 10 Octobers!)

 

EDIT: Add April to the #NotEventMonths list, as its peak was last year at $812m.

Presumably one of April’s problems is that people don’t want to have their legs crushed by the first May Friday release. But this May shows that a wide variety of scheduling cluster&#@%s for big movies are still possible, so I’m sure April will get there someday soonish.
