Venom will be the next project for SONY. Will see Eddie Brock in TASM's world not SM3. Tie all the films together? Does that mean SM1-TASM & GR1-2? Should expect a grounded Brock, not a muscle bound Brock.Arad:

We want to be as close to the comics as possible. Especially in Eddie Brock's story. But again, pseudo-sceince is becoming science. All these tidbits about webs, artificial webs, is a huge industry now. Spiderwebs have unique qualities that will be huge for communications, fibers, and so forth. So we have taken the approach that we want to make the huge amazing movie about Eddie.

Well Producers are seeing after TASM. With JL coming in a few years due to TA success, SONY wouldn't be to far behinds with their shared Universe. Movies have been in longer development and all of a sudden they get a director and the rest is history.

Yes, but JL was coming before Venom and nothing to til recently. I imagine know the other 3 are going for the shared Universe. Also has it ever had a director this close to directing?Brief History: In 2007 was in the works (July 2007). Had a writer, but was rejected. Had 2 more writers and G. Ross as a possible director. Like any movie especially CBM they are in the works many years prior and will eventually see the light of day. When a movie is getting this much steam it ether goes forward or pulls an Ant-Man.
