Good opening for The Wife. Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Lawrence, Emma Stone et al. having Oscars over Glenn Close is kind of a joke. Then again, the Oscars are pretty much meaningless. I mean, Helen Hunt and Mira Sorvino have one. I like them both but yeah.

Good numbers for just about everything. Only Fallout dropped more than expected (and 215.4 really is in danger now, would require 4.3x off this weekend which is very hard even with LD), and Klansman's PTA dropped 45% which is not that great. Should still reach 40 though. Alpha can reach high 30s should the WOM spread, which honestly looks like a win considering the marketing.

Fallout seems like it's gonna finish closer to 210. Bad week for it relatively. Somehow, MI2 escapes again domestically.

The weekend multiplier for Crazy Rich Asians indicates it's in for a very long run. I can see $125M happening and potentially higher too.

Mile 22 got off to a mediocre start as expected. A swift trip to Walmart's $5 bin is in order.

Alpha is the low-key surprise of the weekend. Too bad CJohn isn't still here to tell us about how Tomato Law saved it.
