I know this is overseas mainly but I want to gauge the temperature of the room, what do we think for Spider-Man opening day? Best comps of the past are Spider-Man 2, which came out June 30th (Wednesday), so 4th of July landed on its first Sunday. That made 40.4 million opening day and 152.4 million first 5 days (Wednesday-Sunday) and $180.1 million first 6 (Wednesday-Monday).

 

And then there's The Amazing Spider-Man which had an even more similar release window, July 3rd (Tuesday), and made 35 million that day and $137 million in 6 days (Tuesday-Sunday).

 

I'm leaning towards Spider-Man 2's 6 days (Wednesday-Monday) for Far From Home's Tuesday-Sunday. Opening day I'm guessing $40-50 million, because it's tricky as not everyone is on holiday yet today, but they should be tomorrow, so opening day could end up lower but Wednesday could be flatter and then Friday could be the top day (playing more like a family movie, something people go see for the holiday). That's one scenario, another is Tuesday is the top day, 40-50 (possibly even 50+), followed by Friday, Saturday, Wednesday, Sunday and Thursday. I'm thinking that second scenario will be it. I'm guessing 170-200+ million for the first 6 days.

He confused SM FFH with SM HC, now he corrected.

OS-C seems really high. 

I think China more like 170M. 180M US probably high-end now. 350M form those two.

Safe for 575M though.

CM did $245mn in same set of markets;

Here with extra days in various markets, $235-250mn is only reasonable.

OK found it. it was 981,000. So its a nice increase. Of course its just a prediction and so I want to see 2PM france and OD data.
