PS. I feel Venom showed the Spidey potential in China, which can be seen in Spider-Man 3 even.

The scale in the trailer is so big. Plus the eurotrip, something that we never has seen with Spidey. Post Avengers 4 can be a positive factor too.

 

But has The Lion King. If not, i would believe in 700m. My prediciotn is 580m-600m.

To be fair though....Iron Man 2 came out before the MCU-popularity exploded with Avengers.

 

And the $623M WW for that movie was a respectably good number.

guessing 35:65 dom:os spit compared to 38:62 for smh

 

using a range of doms, that split gives the following os and ww -

300 dom +  560 os =  860 ww

325 dom + 600 os = 925 ww

350 dom + 650 os =  1000 ww

375 dom + 700 os =  1075 ww

 

I'll go with 325 dom + 600 os = 925 ww

I do think people forget how much the Avengers can be boost the solo movies. I think IW's peak was Spider-Man getting dusted so I would say that raised his profile (not that SM of all people would need it, but there could be a lot less "another reboot?" resistance this time)
