So is it worth the price of admission for that or nah?

Yes. Yes it is. I legit just got out thanks to that post. Thriller is AMAZING. And there a BUNCH of kids in the audience that had never seen it, so their reactions were a hoot.

House with Clocks is super fun too!!  Had a nice 80s Amblin production feel to it.

large surge from Thursday to Friday with House/Clock.  did Friday have school off prompting a smaller Saturday increase?

amazing hold with A Simple Favor.  strong WOM too?  I predicted competition would be light all around and predicted a drop around 45%.

Peppermint might look strong too

The Predator's drop is completely understandable. The word of mouth is terrible. There was a conspiracy theory from someone on here that the critics didn't like it because of the controversy but nope, turns out regular people, who wouldn't give a crap about that controversy, didn't like it either. I myself haven't seen it so I can make no judgement.

Confident that Nun and predator can make 2x, but I think 2.1 might be a bridge too far for them :hahaha:

Nun should easily get past 2.1x, looks like a 115-120M finish is likely. Predator needs 11M more after a 8M weekend (if that). Might end up just short.

The Nun will need 13.2m more after 99.8m to reach (2.1 X OW). That's barely 1.43 times the 3rd weekend so it shouldn't be difficult to achieve even with mixed WoM. (Annabelle Creation did 3X it's 3rd weekend returns but it did benefit from the LD weekend in between.)

If the early estimates hold then The Nun would do (1.85 X OW) while Annabelle: Creation managed (2 X OW) after 14 days. At the end of 10 days The Nun was at (1.58 X OW) while A:C was at (1.83 X OW). After one full week A:C was at (1.39 x OW) while The Nun was at (1.24 X OW). Looking at the percentage difference at those particular junctures it does seem like The Nun is stabilizing against A:C and that maybe it won't fall off a cliff unless it bleeds a whole lot of theaters in the next few weeks.
