I thought the embargo lifts tomorrow night (Tuesday).

Thing about the social media embargo is that unless people say a movie is really great or really bad, you have to read between the lines.

The premiere is Wednesday and the embargo lifts after that.

My RT (after settling) prediction, based on nothing more than the film's marketing, is 70%-75%. Putting aside the emotion over Chadwick's passing, this film just doesn't look as visually gripping, culturally innovative, or narratively focused, as the original. I count at least 3 different story threads that seem designed to setup the future of the MCU, whereas the first BP always presented itself as self-contained. I'm actually getting Iron Man 2 vibes in that regard.

One more day until we find out if Coogler saved the MCU.

First trailer-got people all emotional and raving

Second trailer-not quite as much

Third (the 45 second trailer last week) was gimmicky without any emotion. There was definitely something way off about that one.

Things have been waning, but let's see what is said about it tomorrow so we can endlessly read between the lines and over-analyze the comments.

That's because the third "trailer" was an extended TV spot-type thing, and Marvel often tends to have those focus on action (other example is the "Need" spot-like video they released for SC or the "Speech" one released for Thor).

Upon re-evaluating the first film, I think I actually appreciate it more now than I did back when it came out. The VFX are still dodgy and I’m still not too crazy about Shuri’s comedy, but I can appreciate the film for how well it stands on its own. Even if you’re not invested in the greater narrative of the MCU, you can still enjoy the film as its own thing.

I think that is quite possibly why the movie had such appeal to everyone. I've said many times that BP could have been a movie in any franchise or just its own and it could have worked just as well.
