I do agree with this point. That 50% number will be excellent to work towards, though, and I think it's okay if it takes time to get there. Talent must be nurtured in everyone who wants to work in film, regardless of their gender/race/this/that/yada-yada.

they're both leads though. they'd both be in my BEST ACTRESS nominees but them being nominated in supporting is STUPID. i'm at least glad an actual supporting performance won.
