AniNate
I'd say Brave is probably the closest Pixar has been to a "straight" movie, since there's little humor actually involving Merida. As far as consistent earnestness goes, though, I'd probably give that to Wall-e. It has chuckles but it mostly takes itself pretty seriously Definitely hoping they treat Arlo's story with the sensitivity it calls for Edited October 12, 2015 by tribefan695

AniNate
There's still a sad undercurrent to it all though. That WALL E remains so cheerful in his environment adds to the heartbreaking nature of it.

Ezen Baklattan
I'm on my phone, but according to the El Capitan Theater (Disney's main theater) it's 92 minutes long.
AniNate
Kinda curious what the MPAA rating's gonna be. Will involving a human push it to PG?
Ezen Baklattan
I'm definitely betting on a PG rating, actually. It looks to have a lot more intense action than a lot of Pixar films.

I feel comfortable saying though that... Basically nobody sees a difference.
kayumanggi
#ChinaBoxOffice #TheGoodDinosaur #TheWalk and #TheForceAwakens will have to wait until 2016 as China's film quota has been met for this year — China Box Office (@ChinaBoxOffice) October 14, 2015
Murgatroyd
Kinda curious what the MPAA rating's gonna be. Will involving a human push it to PG? It's safe to assume that PG is the minimum rating these days. The only non-documentary G-rated movie announced so far this year is Peanuts. The only non-documentary G-rated movie announced so far this year is Peanuts. 2/3 of Pixar's films are rated G, the last one with that rating was Monsters University. goldenstate5
I'm on my phone, but according to the El Capitan Theater (Disney's main theater) it's 92 minutes long. Oh snap. Sometimes they include the short which is 7 minutes long. Could TGD actually be 85 minutes with credits? There's only one Pixar movie under 90 min, and that's Toy Story.
