KP1025
I still don't understand why Disney gave up on Christopher Robin so close to the $100 million mark.

Inexplicable after the way they relentlessly pushed Wrinkle & BP especially when they had Ralph (didn't even do drive ins there) & Poppins coming up.

They must have paired it up with The Meg in drive ins after they stopped reporting WB updated numbers on nearly all its 2018 movies sometime in December. Ocean's 8 went from 139.4 to 140.2, RPO from 137.0 to 137.7, The Meg from 143.0 to 145.4 which is just ridiculous. That's some sideeye-worthy nonsense. Show us the weekly numbers come the fuck on.
Jake Gittes
I guess Disney has a masochistic streak, with Gnomeo, CR and Hercules they now have a whole 99m DOM club they get to own.

MCKillswitch123
Could The Upside make a play for 100M? It's significantly outpacing The Bucket List at the same point in time, and that finished with 93M unadjusted; and it doesn't really have a whole lot of competition (there's other comedies coming, but they appeal to a different audience). Mon-Thu brought in 3.9 and the Fri-Sun is looking at 8.3 for a Mon-Sun week of 12.20 and cume of 75 30-40% weekly drops from now on for 10 weeks will add, 40% 35% 30% 7.32 7.93 8.54 4.39 5.15 5.98 2.64 3.35 4.18 1.58 2.18 2.93 0.95 1.42 2.05 0.57 0.92 1.44 0.34 0.60 1.00 0.20 0.39 0.70 0.12 0.25 0.49 0.07 0.16 0.34 18.19 22.35 27.66 Adding 75 cume gives doms of 93+, 97+ and 102.5+ respectively.

Probably not since it's about to be pushed to smaller auditoriums with 7 new releases coming up over the next two weeks but it should get to around $95M, which is a hell of a lot more than anybody expected from it before it opened.

I root for STX to push The Upside over 100M. This would only be their second film to gross over that milestone. The competition is not that fierce either.
