From the moment he was outed by an article written by an overzealous reporter at the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Jewell went from hero to one of the most hated men in America.

MrGamer
The Mule Begins Also, smart move to take the Mule Cinematic Universe to Disney. Edited April 18, 2019 by MrGamer 1
Eric Batson
This is shooting in the summer. The Mule filmed in the summer and was done in time for December. So this will probably either open on the 13th as Jumanji counterprogramming, or limited on Christmas Day and expand in January. Fox almost always had at least two wide movies out in December (2018 was the exception, due to Alita being pushed back and Bohemian Rhapsody pushed forward), but Disney could throw in a big monkey wrench into the situation. filmlover
The Mule would've been a really mediocre send-off so I'm glad he's giving it at least one more shot to get it right. Also good to see that Disney is still allowing Fox to make adult-friendly fare.

CoolioD1
i wouldn't want to be the guy who has to explain to Clint what Disney+ is after this gets dumped there.

He'll probably rant "what the hell is it with this generation?" or something along those lines like he does throughout The Mule.

If this is shooting in the summer it'll definitely get a similar rollout to what they gave The Revenant, Hidden Figures, and The Post, even if those were pre-Disney takeover.
