Wait Saltburn has made in the UK 4M?

 Is set in the UK?

Very impressive result.

My local cinema has really botched this film. They had it on at 1pm and 10pm (??) then not at all on weekends, and now they’ve dropped it. Going to see it this Sunday elsewhere.

They probably didn’t really care too much about it considering it’s dropping on Amazon Prime next week. Cineworld in particular seem to be quite averse to screening films that have a short theatrical window.

It’s actually another cineworld I’m going to, strangely. But yeh I bet that has a lot to do with it. I wish Showcase would bring out an unlimited card.

Cineworld are shooting themselves in the foot with that attitude towards streaming films, especially considering the slight drought of films we’re likely to encounter over the next few months as a result of the strike. Not saying they should fill their screens with any old Netflix slop, but occasionally it’s good to see a film made for Netflix/Amazon on the big screen. The Light cinema that I go to showed The Killer in a good time slot for at least 3 weeks, and it performed well for them.
