The Toymaker
Just because of the actor? Yep, pretty much. He plays the titular character. So he's quite integral to whether I enjoy the film. He's in almost every scene, I imagine.
SchumacherFTW
Woah, the big ass cinema in crawley that I go to sometimes has sold out Two regular screenings on friday, and the evening IMAX showing. This place is a walk up cinema too!
JCS
Damn, can't wait for Skyfall with all this screening and sell-out talk.

Heretic
My cinema has practically sold out the 20:00 and 20:45 showings on Friday night, as well as basically every IMAX showing for the weekend.Norwich Odeon has 9 sold out shows! Many of them in the gallery, but still, impressive.
Heretic
Holy shit! Leicester Squares 1,700 seater has sold out 3 shows! 3! Never seen that happen, at least, not a few days before release.

Fullbuster
Skyfall MUST break records in the UK.The UK BO will be very interesting these next days and weeks
Heretic
I imagine it'll sell out most of the other showtimes too then. That means probably over £0.25m just from that cinema alone over the weekend.
PhilipJ2001
I've never seen presales like this at my cinema. Friday and Saturday night are nearly full already. We never sell out this early.
Heretic
Wow. I'm starting to believe in £20m more and more every hour.
PhilipJ2001
Yeah i think it will be massive.
JCS
It certainly looks like HP:DH1's huge OW can be surpassed as every hour goes by. £20M+ OW not out of reach either, but I am being more realistic perhaps.Places like Vue Westfield still don't have that many sell-outs but because many cinemas in shopping centres have so many showtimes and so many walk-ups that pre-sales are not that important. So we shouldn't see THAT many sell-outs at the big cinemas especially as Bond does not have rabid fans like HP and Twilight. Heretic
Around me at least, this is going to perform very similarly to Potter. Even though it's more of a walk-up franchise, this time, it's just looking different, and pre-sales are mirroring that of a franchise with a rabid fanbase. lab276
Don't know if it's been mentioned in here yet, but September admissions were 9.44m, the lowest September since 2006. Yearly admissions are now at 123.6m, less than the 131.4m last year.
Heretic
September was very slow this year, but October has been WAY bigger than the last few years, especially with Bond opening now. I think it'll be the most attended October of the 21st century so far. November and December will be bigger than last year too, especially the latter with The Hobbit, which should easily make up for it.

Such low admissions for September but October/November/December with Skyfall, BD2 and The Hobbit should mean 2012 will have more admissions then 2011!
