SchumacherFTW
I never see full 3D shows, but they're selling out for JW everywhere. Must be over-spill. From what I've seen they're just aren't enough 2D shows to meet demand. That should help with a good hold next weekend.

Heretic
HOLY SHIT. So could even top £18m. AoU opened to £18m, it seems the two are having almost identical openings. Hope JW edges it. Just unbelievable. Edited June 13, 2015 by Heretic

JCS
Westfield was rammed today (and understaffed which sucked for me).

Heretic
Jesus! Surely £16m Fri-Sun is locked then? This could get near £19m 4 day. Un-fucking-believable. What's the Saturday record?
SchumacherFTW
Brilliant numbers so far, this is an absolutely cracking weekend! Just checked Crawley Cineworld, first imax show of the day starts in 40 minutes, and only side seats and the front 2 rows are left. Looks like things aren't changing much today. JCS
Must have been stressful as hell dealing with those crowds. Yep, management seemed surprised JW would have monstrous admits so there weren't enough staff.... Glad I'm not working today.
solaris
Jesus.... These numbers are insane. This should be able to leg it out to £50m. Will prob be close to that by next Friday. Weekday business will be huuuuge.
Heretic
Tom Linay @TomLinay May 13 April's cinema admissions now confirmed as 15.1m, up 19% from 2014. I make that the busiest April since 1972. What an incredible year this is turning out to be. Admissions so far are up a HUGE amount for such a developed market. June's admissions are gonna be something else.

Universal are killing it this year and they've still got Minions

Rsyu
That opening is jaw dropping. Any chance it beats Spectre's OW?
