Minnale101
Big yikes. Even warner Bros successes be not so great but it’s been a bad year for them that they can’t take it for granted lol
Blaze Heatnix
It 2 will have shitty legs. The running time and the insane third act are obviously playing against it's performance.

Me too, but I can see many people having problems with the third act. It was crazy in a delicious way, but it's obviously not for everyone. a2k
IT did 132.2 4-day and 2.48x that dom. That gives IT2 240 dom but it's not gotta trend that well so 2.25x the 4-day gives 215-220 dom.

Hopefully not.

Tuesday increase will be better than the first film's. I'm expecting high 50s drop for the 2nd weekend. Only major release is Hustlers. Captain Craig
Wasn't a poor-ish Monday expected, it was by me. The audience for IT is weekend oriented. That is why I feel the standard of seeing how the second weekend does to be super important for judging the longevity. I suspect Chapter 2 was more front loaded and the rewatch ability might be less so I'm expecting a 60% drop or so but we shall see.

If it follows Angel Has Fallen’s opening week daily drops and increases (recent example), it’s sub $28m.

Shouldn't be that bad. 63-65%. 10 minutes ago, a2k said: 2.25x the 4-day gives 215-220 dom. If you put the over/under right at 215 right now, I think I'd take the under. 205-210 is a believable finish.
alibaba3317
Godzilla 2014 did $7,672,038 on Monday after a $93,188,384 OW. Godzilla 2014 ended its run with $200,676,069. Are we looking at something similar here?

There’s plenty not great about the numbers It Chapter 2 is making. Like the fact that they’re not great. It’ll be big for R. It’ll be big for horror. It’ll be big for September. It’s not a flop or a bomb or a failure or anything like that — but about 65% sequel retention is not great. It’s just... okay. 1 1
