"You talking to me?" THE 70s COUNTDOWN IS DONE!

Recommended Posts

Wow.  I had no idea you were going to do the countdown in less than 12 parsecs......I could have done some writes ups for you.

I'll have a look at this later when i get some free time.  But JAWS and SW number two and one is perfectly balanced, the way things should be.

Good to see some horror in here.  I'm a little disappointed that Last House on the Left didn't make the top 100 but Halloween and TCM being in here is terrific.

Yeah I'm sorry. I just thought real life might have gotten in the way again.

Just for fun, this list re-orders the top 100 by the average number of points received per list. You can see that some films didn't appear on many lists but were generally very highly placed by those that did, and conversely that there were some films that made the top 100 merely on the strength of appearing on most lists.

Of course, there were also many films that were both generally highly placed and appeared on most lists.

😩😩😩😩

Jesus Christ Superstar was 125.

The Seventies really were a great decade for film, wasn't it?

(Saw JCS in a college Humanities class - now THERE was a Seventies film if there ever was one)

I count it as being on 4 lists that were posted publicly (Tele, Rukaio, numbers, and my own list), did you not count mine because I called by its other name (A Fistful Of Dynamite)?
