Really nice reactions bump for A2 in this report. Previously, it had increased 19% over the previous 72 hours, but today it's up almost 23% in just the last 48. Friday and Saturday are both looking strong as well, with Sugarhouse Friday already at 150% of Thursday, and Saturday close behind at 125%. Next week is going to be crazy!

I decided to count the Sunday of Avatar: The Way of Water today. Mainly because you said that it's not frontloaded at all and I wanted to see if it's the same in my theaters.

Avatar:The Way of Water, counted today at 11am EST for Sunday, Dec 18 (= 11 days to go):

NY (AMC Fresh Meadows 7): 213 (10 showtimes)
Miami (AMC Sunset Place 24): 363 (17 showtimes)
Grand Rapids (AMC Grand Rapids 18): 39 (15 showtimes)
Austin (AMC Lakeline 9): 23 (6 showtimes)
Tempe/Phoenix (AMC Centerpoint 11): 15 (6 showtimes)
San Francisco (AMC Metreon 16): 875 (15 showtimes)
LA (AMC Universal): 902 (19 showtimes)

Total tickets sold in 7 theaters: 2.430.

Comp: Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (made 38.9M on Sunday) had with 4 day to go 4.251 sold tickets = 57% at the moment for Avatar with 7 days left to overtake.
I think Avatar will overtake and its Sunday should be good for 40M+ but is that good enough? The numbers in California are fine but its sales at some other places are still meager. Let's see which impact the reactions and reviews have in the next few days...

And M3gan had a few minutes ago (so after 1 or 2 days on sale) 56 sold tickets for Thursday, Jan 5 and 43 sold tickets for Friday, Jan 6 (both times in 5 theaters). With 29 respectively 30 days to go.
Really not bad!

Comps: Beast had after ca. 24 hours (which was also the Monday before its release week) 53 sold tickets for Thursday and 27 sold tickets for Friday
and The Black Phone had also after ca. 24 hours 95 respectively 34 sold tickets
The Invitation had 96 respectively 87 sold tickets on Monday of its release week
and Prey for the Devil had also on Monday of its release week 140 respectively 210 sold tickets.

Endgame, according to Deadline, brought in $26.5M in IMAX and $71.4M for all PLF including 3D, so probably $40-$50M excluding 3D. Then would have to adjust for higher ATP (for reference, NWH had “only” $22M from IMAX)
