JW Friday and Saturday wasn't working this day, so no comps there. Also, today's jump was highly suspect. Same thing happened with Oppenheimer. Whenever there's an unusually high jump, it's always because a random sellout was added, but that's not the case here. The showings seemed normal to me and I didn't notice any changes in the code after looking it over. So, put an asterisk on the day, not sure what caused this huge jump.

That's what having a review release bump vs not looks like. The ATSV comps will likely do the same tomorrow

 

Its really starting to feel like WB oversold the film, and when it came as out good but not "best CBM ever" level, it backfired, turned people off, rather than clearing the "good enough" bar that Transformers apparently had to meet

 

Wondering if your sales pull today can even top 4000 ...

Black Adam comp was going to freefall even if this got 95% RT. That’s how it goes when comping an established fan nostalgia crossover thing with a fairly GA first entry that had much lower initial sales.  
 

Though, yes, review timing is important for the exact daily jerkiness of that fall and level of reception for flash is important for the exact degree of magnitude.

Should have numbers a bit later. Very interested to see how it sold yesterday and any change of trajectory.

 

I do still very much hold out hope that it’ll  surprise everyone with some incredibly strong reception and WOM for a higher-than-norm Thursday multiplier.

Flash looks DOA. Elemental with late review surge could hopefully over perform relative to meagre presales so far. Next week No hard Feelings has sold 2092 at MTC1 while Asteroid City with just 360 shows has sold 2948 tickets . Ruby Gillman has sold whooping 616 tickets !!! June BO already looks like fizzling out at this point. Hopefully Spidey does 400m+ and July releases do lot better.
