Any idea about Lightyear? Disney's begun heavily promoting it in the theme parks (there's a special look in Walt Disney Presents at Hollywood Studios that began on Friday).

How about adding comps with bigger openers. Bats, DS2 or even TG2. You should have comps. I dont think Eternals/F9/BW is a good comp at all. They are way smaller openers.

I think the Batman/DS2 comps are gonna be problematic in the other direction, those films are much more fan-driven.

Alright, I pulled the showtimes for tomorrows shows.  I started by counting the non MTC shows that were available on Fandango and had reserved seating (also excluded Alamo and Megaplex as they are already counted).  Looks like 189 for Regal and I'll attempt to count them next.

Also had a huge presence during Chanpionship Sunday for the Premier League yesterday across Peacock/NBC/Uni networks.

I was meaning to add Batman but forgot. Away from my computer so I’ll just do it tomorrow. DS2 is way ahead of Dominion rn and will be more frontloaded. I checked today and the comp is around 9M. Batman will also have that problem but not as bad as DS2

My ask is not for absolute numbers but how it trends relative to other big openers in final 2 weeks. Then we can see how the previews or rest of the weekend BO tracks against those movies. Ultimately it has to show that its in the big league :-)

 

Take Zack's comp of TG2 with Bats and DS, its not as if those movies are best comps but you can clearly see daily trends shoot up and final numbers should be close to what Alpha comps are saying.
