Not sure it will quite reach 700k, maybe like 685. So unadjusted NWH comp will be 36.5 and ATP adjusted probably 2m higher or so. Maybe 37 since smaller chains like Megaplex might be weaker?

Forgot the NWH finish in mtc1 tickets, is that36.5 unadjusted off 50 or 51?

Still final day number puts 200m strongly in play. Needs 50% increase from today to make it happen. So 37/55/60/48 to hit 200m OW. NWH increased 40% from extremely crazy previews. Endgame was in different universe as every show sold out over the weekend in most of NA.

Tad under 940K tickets !!! Crazy number for sure. OD was around 1.2 million.

@ZackM I dont know if you will get a chance to look at OD PS tonight. if possible post an update or at least run it 1st thing tomorrow before shows start over at east coast.

Will it reach 700? It 636K so far. Assuming it hit 675K, that will be $10.4M approx. That will be good for $37M.

I was also skeptical but I went and looked in the old thread. NWH was at 884k with 4 hours left to finish on the East Coast (~40k walkups at that point), and at 912k with 2 hours left to finish on the East (~68k). Finished with ~940k. DS2 so far seems to be outpacing NWH by a good bit in walkups with 79k so far and 3 hours left, so could potentially get close to 700k.

DS2 runtime could also help late nights relatively

Talking about NWH and MOM previews just makes me further understand how insane Endgame’s demand/hype level was.

If Endgame was releasing today with the demand it had 3 years ago + 3PM show times and current ATP; you could very well be looking at $80M in previews….

+20% from an extra show per screen or so? Seems fair. Maybe even more tbh. 85M previews 330 true fss?

Endgame was the ONLY movie ever where I could not get tickets for until the 2AM showings about 30-40 miles away. I had to call in sick the next day at work because I got home almost at 6AM.

NWH took some tries, but I got it in a relatively good spot at 8 or 9PM. Strange was very easy to get good spots at the time I wanted.

I would think more like $350M FSS. Ticket price inflation alone puts it at $420M OW, then couple in the 3PM Thursday start.

Now let’s go a step further and imagine a film with MOM’s runtime + Endgame’s hype. We’d be looking at $450-470M OW 🤣

Roughly around 700K finish at alpha? @charlie Jatinder would that be sufficient for high 30's previews?

No, more like 650k.  It probably wasn't clear from my post (because I haven't done it this way in the past), but the yellow cells are in realish-time, not presale numbers from the 2pm run.  And previously I think I left time ranges blank until they were final.  So if you want to compare this to NWH, just ignore the yellow cells, I think.  Either way, walkups are going to be right around NWH, which is pretty remarkable.

That is just insane. Also, question, what do you think Endgame would do with true Midnights instead of Thursday previews? I always think about DH part 2 amazing midnight numbers.

Opening weekend records are always broken but I think the record Endgame will hold for years and years to come is the wide release per theater average. It beat Return of the Jedi PTA for a wide release which held the record for 30+ years!!!

MoM just leaked, not a cam-rip, its the movie, perfectly watchable, resolution is a tiny bit low, but if you're only using a 1080p monitor then it shouldn't be much of a problem

any chance this stops it from getting to 200 million?
