If I’m following along correctly, the previous single day record was IW’s 329.8mn RUB, and AEG has topped that on Mon, Tues, and Wed? How many days do you think we could see above that — whole 7 day opening?

Presales for tomorrow only 56 mln RUB vs 90 mln RUB yesterday. Let's hope drop will be not that bad.  Reasonable prediction 15-20% drop Thursday-Saturday, 20-25% on Sunday. That would be 2,2-2,3 bln RUB.

Even with huge 3d surcharges tickets in 2009-2010 were cheaper than now. Avatar grossed 3645.2 mln RUB.  Endgame most likely will pass 3 billion RUB,  Maybe even 3.2-3,3 bln RUB.

Already passed billion RUB today in 60 hours or so

Had no idea the exchange rate discrepancy had become that significant.

So Avatar today would have only made $56m USD?

14,2M adm. * 4.4$ avg ticket price = 62.5M

Barely over a half of 119M it did back in 2009

 1$ = 30.2 RUB in late 2009

1$ = 32.9 RUB in late 2013 before ukrainian events aka maidan coup

1$ = 64.4 RUB now

What we know for Russia so far:

$7.8M MON (day-to-day % change)

$5.3M TUE (-32%)

$6.3M WED (+19%) --- National holiday

$4.7M THU (-25%) --- National holiday

TOTAL: $24.1M

Can anyone give us an idea of how the weekend might play out? Friday is also a national holiday. Are Saturday and Sunday working days or are they a normal weeked?

My estimates

510 mln RUB or $7.87 mln Monday

345 mln RUB or $5,33 mln Tuesday

418 mln RUB or $6,46 mln Wednesday

318 mln RUB or $4.92 mln Thursday

243 mln RUB or $3,76 mln Friday

1834 mln RUB or $28.35 mln total

180-185 mln RUB today and maybe around 130 mln RUB tomorrow. Very frontloaded. With such drops wont pass 3 billion RUB i am afraid.

2198 mln RUB or $33.97 mln in 7 days. Studio reported $32.6 mln but that's too low.

What? Why the box office report is lower comparing to the actual? Imagine if other countries have this problem as well ...

The studio often underestimates when reporting on Sunday.

It just means that tomorrow when actuals come out it will be higher. DOM will most likely also be higher by a couple million.

So bigger than Infiny War run nice..(even if it'll drop 70% or something)..with 2012 exchange rate it'd been a gigantic opening I imagine.
