Eric Atreides
https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-news/ethan-coen-road-trip-movie-1235123552/ Quote After his brother Joel Coen went on his own to direct a movie, last year’s Oscar-nominated The Tragedy of Macbeth, Ethan Coen is also venturing out solo for a movie project. Coen, half of the acclaimed sibling partnership known simply as the Coen brothers, has teamed up with Focus Features and Working Title for the feature project, which is currently untitled. Coen will direct the project, which is eyeing a shoot this summer, and wrote the script with his wife, Tricia Cooke. The two are also producing with Robert Graf and Working Title principals Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner.
TheDude391
That explains the split then, one wants to make Shakespeare and the other wants to do sexploitation throwbacks to Russ Meyer films. Fingers crossed and they merge again to make a smutty Shakespeare film after this!

lorddemaxus
This looks kinda amateurish ngl. I feel like Ethan just made this for fun (I kinda would make some schlock too if I made some of the best films ever)
Cmasterclay
Certainly doesn't look amazing but does look fun and it has enough smart people involved that I have faith it'll be a good way to spend an afternoon.
kestrel
Putting this side by side with The Tragedy of Macbeth and it's clear what each brother brought to the table. Every trope and stylistic element neatly sorted itself into one film or the other.
MOVIEGUY
Looks funny, unsurprisingly. Can't remember the last time a trailer for comedy actually made me laugh.

Avatree
I was not stoned enough to enjoy this movie. If you like the idea of 83 minutes of non stop talking about penises and vaginas then this is the movie for you.
