They were like Black Adam's early reactions Also you were correct when you said this movie would drop hard
AniNate
Well, if this does disappoint at the box office, can't say they didn't make their own bed
Mojoguy
First 2 Venom films were both Rotten on RT and their Cinemascores kind of sucked, both B+ I can't see this changing for V3 especially if the story sucks for this one or if it is way too complicated.

Crazy how high ceiling could have been if this had been better.
Grand Cine
It's not a surprise at all, it's a Sony Movie , outside Spiderman/Spiderverse movies, it's always not good

I know they've been having their own issues as of late, but still. I honestly don't get Sony because it's almost like they're doing it on purpose.

dudalb
The other two Venom movies were not very good and made lots of money, I can't see this changing. This file is one of those which are review proof.

Will likely settle in the teens or low 20s by Friday
AniNate
Even "review proof" franchises wear out their welcome eventually. If they're not reinventing themselves in any way with new installments, the core fanbase will erode as tastes shift and more of them get busier with real life concerns. And assuming this was intended as the "final installment" they probably weren't all that motivated to present a novel hook here. Grand Cine
It's better than Venom , for now , (30%) but much lower than the second one (59%)

Idk Joker 2 had pretty bad early reactions. Antman 3 we could see the warning signs based on reactions. venom was all very positive
filmlover
This won't implode like Joker did (due to subversion of expectations + extreme audience dissatisfaction with the execution) but it feels like it's destined disappoint with an underwhelming total compared to the first two at this point. I guess it really is up to the Wicked/Gladiator combo + Moana to save the box office in about a month.
John Marston
Last Dance seems almost begging to solely be watched on airplanes, in the soporific 90 minutes between dinner service and uneasy, upright sleep. It functions best as an accidentally found object rather than something deliberately sought out. lol

AniNate
When the first "glowing" reaction out said "turn your brain off" I knew that I still shouldn't set expectations very high.
