What? I had no idea Saudi Arabia was putting up those kind of numbers. Didn't they only recently allow movie theaters to exist again?

Cinema Opened on April 18, 2018.

 

Their cinema is expanding well. But, TGM still isn't the best multiple in Saudi Arabia.

I don´t think it will get only 60 M +, in SK it will get at least 40 M more it´s having insane low drops and it seems it will continue some weeks more

SK is moste likely not getting $40m + (that would be atleast 5m more in admission). You would be more safe going with 25m-32m extra from SK

As pepsa said its better to expect a max of 30m from now in SK...not sure how the lineup in korea looks like... its summer time here so we can expect local biggies to crop up quite regularly!

It already is. It going to have an amzing multi from it's 5-day ow. 

But if you check the SK thread, I have been quite activly following the run. Like I thought yesterday we saw a 35% week to week decline on Wednesday (opening of a local midsized movie + minions2, meaning over the weekend it might get closer to a 30% drop.

 

If we take the 30% weekend drop:

61k thursday

492k 3-day weekend

 

Meaning it's at 6542k by sunday. My guess is that it gets close to 9m admssion. That would already mean 5x it's weekend (not easy to do) To get $40m extra it would need 5.2-5.3m late run admission (less premium screens so less gross). The 5.7+5.3 = 11m, now we are talking about 9x it's 5th weekend and that actualy totaly impossible at this point.

However 8m total admission is locked $65-66m and it still has a shot at 9m ($72.5m-$73.5m)
