This sounds entirely unnecessary, and Pete Docter himself wasn't enthusiastic about making a sequel 7 years ago.

My dad's favorite Pixar is Inside Out and he's been pestering me for years about when they will make a sequel. Feels really nice to actually give him an answer.

We already had a movie where they pressed the Puberty button (or the puberty alarm went off) and it was Turning Red.

Inside Out is top 3 Pixar IMO. I hope this is a great sequel.

My stepdad's favorite Pixar is Cars but I don't know if he saw any of the sequels...

With Iger back in the fold are they now going to have everyone come back for this or are they sticking with the plan? I realize you have to do something new for a sequel but you can't just kick beloved characters to the curb and hope to rekindle the magic.

Several movies might get delayed to the next year because of the strike. Maybe Marvels and Wonka could go to summer 2024, so IO2 could up with more competition!
