If Ennui is really one of the new emotions, I would almost bet money this one will be wearing a black turtleneck and speaking in a French accent.

Pixar has strong potential to make a Tumblr sexyman out of that concept. Hopefully they aren't cowards.

If Ennui is an actual character, then my excitement for this film went up tenfold, because that feels like such an adult concept for a modern Pixar film.

So where exactly were these emotions in the first one? Even if you chalk it up to puberty (though saying kids don't feel anxiety, envy or embarassment just seems foolish go me), the adults didn't have them either.

Honestly, I was sold on the demolition day but even more sold when Anxiety appeared!

 

The recast of Disgust and Fear isn't far off from the original although it probably helps Tony Hale is very similar tonally to Bill Hader.

I would guess that those emotions aren't as dominant compared to the main five.
