released in 2019, probably miss 500M in US

Even less id say. That scenario would make Avatar 2 go against TROS head-to-head and even with TROS beeing the ... thing ... it is, Americans would have chosen Star Wars as their number 1 movie for Christmas Holidays over Avatar and thus less overall money would have been there.

No its assuming this is releasing instead of TROS.

In 2019, it loses $1.5-2 ticket inflation which would put gross around $490M. Further competition wasn't as low it is today, so that will hurt some late legs.

Never mind DOM or OS, you are really banking on China numbers. Maybe their holidays will carry it but I’m not seeing it. I was thinking more like a 2-2.3 multiplier from their ow, but I wouldn’t dare to question your projections tho.

All things considered, if it does make it to 1.9 billion that'd be impressive.

Impressive is subjective I would say.

I would have been impressed with 350M admits WW. Granted China isn't optimum, so can put that to 270M+ WW-C.

This for now looks like 200M, about same as Frozen 2 and less than The Lion King & The Force Awakens.
