Flopped
Oh god, the LAST thing I need from a horror movie is a Taylor Swift style popstar at the center; she single-handedly managed to ruin popstars with her bland 35-going-on-15 self.
Krissykins
Ryan Tedder? MTV? Those fake billboards for the “stars” music single? And apparently the song is actually out this week. The marketing team did such a great job on the first and they seem to be doing even more unique stuff this time round too. Bravo.
filmlover
Pop star concerts being used as a backdrop for a horror movie is popular this year between this and Trap. Taylor's influence? 1

Morieris
I didn't see the first one but I'm happy Naomi Scott is acting (again? She went somewhere after Aladdin, and Distant is a distant memory that was never released).
cinema pal
Meh I didn't like the first one and this looks more unintentionally funny (Lucas Gage scene), just like "Truth or dare". Naomi Scott is the only reason to watch it I guess
filmlover
Looks goofy as hell but so did the first and that ended up being much better than I expected so I'll be seeing this with similar expectations.

Flopped
Looks mid. Never got the hype for the first one. It Follows lite. And people saying "what a great concept!" as if horror movies haven't had people smile creepily for decades and decades...?
Hiccup23
Song is a bop but I am gay and I ate up “On a Roll” so this is no surprise. I’m sold already on this movie…looks fun

She was in the Charlie's Angels reboot too but yeah, Hollywood was very quick to neglect Mena Massoud and her despite being the leads of a 1B+ grosser. We’re not saying the smiling is a great concept (the first was excellent though). We’re saying having the next protagonist be huge pop star in this situation is.
