Tuesday will be massive because of all the families waiting for Discount Tuesdays to see it at a cheaper price. Inflation is the only thing keeping families from fully coming back right now.

It should drop - fewer kids out of school and discount tickets vs all those full price buys yesterday.

If Sonic 2 last year is any indication, Tuesday will definitely drop. It’s just a matter of by how much.

Monday was a rich day for moviegoing with a good chuck of K-12 schools off at 40% on spring break, down from 80% on Good Friday. Colleges on break yesterday repped 10%, down from Friday’s 31%.

Definitely holiday bump is in play here, yesterday was not a normal Monday. Both DnD and JW4 show way smaller week-to-week decline as compared to during weekend.

Yup. It was certainly not a normal weekday outside of the summer, but the comparisons to summer or even federal holidays are ridiculous. The majority of schools were in session and the vast majority of businesses were open.

 

$20M and a 42% drop is an amazing number.
