Little Mermaid for the same reason - that was a holiday weekend and may have started better?

Theatre 1:

6 showtimes including 3 3D

3D theatre is 100 seats per showing 2D shows are 147 each

11 tickets sold so far in total

Theatre 2:

3 Showtimes (2 IMAX + 1 IMAX 3D) IMAX approx: 345 seats per

14 total tickets sold as of 3:45 PM EST

So in approx 4 hours of pre sales, 25 tickets sold across 9 posted shows in my city.

By my quick math that’s 1786 total available seats between the 2 theatres so far.

Also somewhat curiously none of the 3 theatres mentioned have started selling FNAF or Beyoncé at all.

KOTFM is available at 2 of 3 currently.

Following up on this, Theatre 3 just updated Marvels pre sales after being unavailable all day. Adding 5 posted showtimes and an additional 681 seats in my area for Thursday previews.

A total of 14 showtimes and 2467 seats between the 3 theatres posted.

In the 4 hours since my original post 11 additional tickets have been sold for a total of 36 in the first 8 hours.

36/2467 = 1.46%

Working on a TSTET update for the area as well.

I always said The Marvels was opening low and going under 400M WW.

I also always said Tay Tay was going under 100M OW because it would have no walkups and pre-sales would be limited after the first few days.

These wild swings down are crazy, pace is obviously bad. Bunch of new shows in this last update, with final theater sets being decided, so I'm interested to see if those move the needle at all, especially at MTC1 where capacity is finally lower than 90%

The Marvels update for Minneapolis coming at around 11 PM CST, don't have any good comps but oh well
