No Way Home was/is the epitome of the movies Marvel wants to make: A giant crowd-pleaser that every demographic can watch and enjoy and which makes them excited for whats to come.

Unfortunately for Marvel, No Way Home was also the last movie where they got that formula right. Since then, its been nothing but stumbles, embarrasments and self-harm.

Poorly executed CGI schlock that leans heavily on nostalgia and fan service? I can see that.

I mean ... i cant debate against that lol. Bad CGI and Marvel are basically the same thing, apart a few exceptions.

But theres no denying that No Way Home was absolutely beloved by audiences when it came out. You dont get 800M DOM if your WOM isnt glowing.

I think bad CGI is tanking the superhero industry as a whole. Audiences are getting sick of it. Certainly hurt Flash and Marvels.

I think Flash reception was more hurt by bad CGI.

People who have seen The Marvels don't have said so much criticism about bad CGI. That said, it's possible people who are alreaxy tired about MCU bad CGI didn't give The Marvels an opportunity.

I'm not sure if this is a leak or if it's from the WandaVision 4K blu ray release. This accounts been posting a lot from that and these look like they're from a clip of something so maybe it's that?

Edit: yes, it's from the 4K release.

Not the most inspired costume…seems extremely similar to Missy from Doctor Who. Probably telling how their approaching the character.

I think people are often overstating which things are "hated by audiences" a lot. Outside of online echo chambers most people enjoyed Last Jedi for instance.

I really like The Last Jedi, but it was a divisive movie beyond online echo chambers.

If that wasn't the case, Disney wouldn't be enough worried to change so many things for The Rise of Skywalker.

Both me and my sister saw the Last Jedi.  We didn't 'hate' it, but we stopped caring (that movie turned star wars into a joke).  Neither of us has seen the third movie whose name I can't be bothered to look up.'

So yes, Last Jedi was enjoyable spectacle in a space balls kind of way.

Makes sense, especially since it sounds Oscar Isaac loved working on Moon Knight and him not coming back was the biggest obstacle to the character ever coming back.

Ms. Marvel coming back for a second season would be nice, I wasn’t expecting it considering how The Marvels did. Let’s see if it turns out to be true.
