This will be a huge, HUGE tear-jerking smash with males. The story will soooo have men longing for/reconnecting with/crying over their own fathers. Just wait and see...

 

ETA: nevermind...forget that; I assumed that the singer in the TV screen was the boy's father.

So that was fun. It's amazing how clever clip editing can almost make Cars 2 look like a good movie. Orchestra kinda struggled with Thomas Newman's pieces, unfortunately.

 

For the record, Michael Giacchino appears to be the one scoring this since his name was on a music sheet in some BTS images shared a few months ago.

It's more in the slapstick driven vein of the first Frozen teaser, but the final joke is pretty funny.
