baumer
The Exorcist is a really bad horror film. I understand it's place in the pantheon of great films but it did nothing for me. It didn't scare me and I found the story to be silly. The devil's in a bad mood so he possesses a girl and makes her curse and talks pornographically. That's the best he could do? Really? luna
For me he’s just a hoax. It’s empty. It’s not interesting. It’s dead. Citizen Kane, which I have a copy of – is all the critics’ darling, always at the top of every poll taken, but I think it’s a total bore. Above all, the performances are worthless. The amount of respect that movie’s got is absolutely unbelievable.- ingmar bergman on orson welleshmm
Godzilla
Hocus Pocus is a Classic. Bette Midler deserved a life time achievement award for that.

Jack Nevada
Ingmar Bergman was a Nazi... He was a kid of the 30's, he didn't know better. Edited September 20, 2013 by Jack Nevada
dashrendar44
I don't buy this excuse. There was a resistance that did know better. (Die weisse Rose for exemple) Bergman liked to be a Nazi and liked to support Hitler as a swedish individual (not even german). Nobody forced him to do it against his will because "they did know better". Edited September 20, 2013 by dashrendar44
Jack Nevada
I don't buy this excuse. There was a resistance. (Die weisse Rose for exemple) I think its just a really stupid provocation to say INGMAR BERGMAN WAS A NAZI when he didn't carry on being a nazi for the rest of his life. Jack Nevada
The maker of Fanny and Alexander and The Seventh Seal retained his admiration of Fascism right up to the end of the war. "When the doors to the concentration camps were thrown open, at first I did not want to believe my eyes." "When the truth came out it was a hideous shock for me. In a brutal and violent way I was suddenly ripped of my innocence." Edited September 20, 2013 by Jack Nevada
