Wow, that's pretty marvelous for them to do that. It speaks to how much influence the filmmakers have over the movie. The series always had a flimsy animus excuse for everyone speaking in English, so being historically accurate in that sense adds an exotic layer to it

Filmmakers that have adressed the barrier language in movies are very rare :

 

McT & Tarantino and that s about it, in other films, everybody everyhwere speaks perfect english just because.

I think a lot of modern day is getting fleshed out. She presides over Irons'  character and than there's someone above Rampling that's in charge of all operations
